Comics journalism – Putin in the tabloids

An English language version of this Valeria Gasik interview from November 2024. I was asked to make a one page comic somehow commenting on the media in Finland for Journalisti magazine, of unionised professional journalists. I went for some comics journalism, and I'm always interested in highlighting Ukrainian perspectives. 

Putin is in the covers of tabloid papers almost daily, and this is a Finnish phenomenom. Of course we need to write about russia's war crimes, but in what way?

Also, I would like to do more comics journalism like this in the futures– interviews with interesting individuals and points of view.
