Vyöry anthology by Kutikuti and documentary comics about the Stansvik forest
Here's our new Kutikuti contemporary comics collective anthology Vyöry, it's out in Finland (in Finnish, Zum Teufel), Belgium (in French, La 5 e Couche) and the US (in English, Living the Line).
There was an interesting collective editing process where we could comment each other's works and have some common themes.

There are some nature themes such as birds and the forest, and I made a little documentary comic about the forest activists in Stansvik, Helsinki. The city is cutting down some rare old forest with endangered species.

The previous parts of the series are called Tihku and Roihu, the parts represent the elements, water, fire, earth, and there should be a fourth one coming up. I don't know why the titles are only in Finnish, but check it out.
Artists: Warda Ahmed, Sanna Hukkanen, Emilia Laatikainen, Kaisa Leka, Jesse Matilainen, Jenna Oldén, Miissa Rantanen, Hannele Richert, Shambhavi Singh, Aino Sutinen, Jari Vaara, Siiri Viljakka. Editors: Esko Heikkilä, Hannele Richert.

Kutikuti-kollektiivin kansainvälinen antologiasarja ilmestyy yhtäaikaa Suomessa, Belgiassa ja Yhdysvalloissa kolmella kielellä. Olen mukana kirjasarjan kolmannessa osassa Vyöry (2026), ja tein pienen dokumentaarisen sarjakuvan Helsingin Stansvikin metsäaktivisteista. Kirjan voi ostaa esimerkiksi täältä.
